Product Description:

Fiebing's Saddle Soap is Fiebing's signature product, widely used on premium saddles, boots, shoes, and other smooth leather items around the world. It cleans leather and lubricates the fibers to prevent brittleness while maintaining suppleness and strength.

What is the difference between the Yellow and White Saddle Soap?

Traditionally, the yellow paste was used on saddles and horse tack, while the white paste was used on shoes and boots. However, this was more for consumer peace of mind, as the yellow paste does not impart any color to the leather. Think of solid hand soap you use; sometimes it's white, other times it's yellow. Neither will transfer color and both will clean and condition leather equally.


How to Use Fiebing's Saddle Soap:

  1. Remove most of the dust and dirt from the leather surface.
  2. Use a clean sponge or cloth to dab an appropriate amount of saddle soap.
  3. Gently rub the leather in circular motions to evenly apply the soap.
  4. Wait for a moment to allow the saddle soap to penetrate and lubricate the leather.
  5. Use a clean cloth to gently wipe the leather, making it smooth and restoring its shine.

Regular Maintenance:

  • It is recommended to use Fiebing's Saddle Soap for basic leather cleaning and conditioning on a monthly basis.
  • In dry or hot environments, more frequent use is advisable to ensure the leather's suppleness and durability.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
