Primarily, neatsfoot oil is used to replace the oils that evaporate from leather, replenishing the leather with other natural animal oils. This product has been a staple for saddle-makers for decades. Packaged in 236 ml and 472 ml sizes.
How to Use This Product:
- Clean the leather item thoroughly to remove dirt, grime, and any previous conditioning products.
- Apply a small amount of the neatsfoot oil to a clean, soft cloth or sponge.
- Gently rub the oil into the leather in a circular motion, ensuring even coverage.
- Allow the oil to penetrate the leather for a few minutes. For very dry leather, a second application may be necessary.
- Wipe off any excess oil with a clean cloth and allow the leather to dry naturally.
- For best results, apply the oil in thin layers rather than a single heavy coat.
Regular Maintenance:
