This skiving knife sharpening jig is a simple and easy tool to ensure you get that perfectly sharp skiving knife. The jig puts pressure on the top and bottom of the knife allowing you to set it at just the right bevel angle. Then all you need to do is place it on a sharpening stone or some sandpaper and roll the tool backwards to sharpen. This simple jig will give you nice repeatable results and a sharp skiving knife!
